February '09: I like leaving trails like this, letting me know what I have changed and such. I haven't actually changed much since the last time I updated this profile, but this year, I am planning on adding Cosplay to my list of interests. We'll see how things go. Also new is Japanese, the language. I am learning the language and would appreciate anyone writing me in Romaji or Kana (haven't learned any Kanji yet). I only know 'masu' forms of verbs right now. Anime and Manga interests have been rising and I am getting into more gaming. That's all for now!
Update '07: There are so many things about me that I don't even know everything I like and dislike. My LJ interests are limited to 150 and I have had to clean, cull, and dismiss my list several times. I heavily love stuff that mostly has fandoms, but I am not an active member of any fandom because I do so many things, I need to cycle through them over and over again. Those things that stay with me constantly, the ones I will drop anything for are Renaissance Faires and Doctor Who.... at least currently. Doctor Who is almost a guarantee. I have been a fan since the 80s when my father let me stay up to watch my first ep broadcast on Chicago's WTTW Channel 11 (PBS). The episode was The Five Doctors. Fave Doctor? Well, it used to be easy: Sylvester McCoy. But now with Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant around... well, the battle for my fave isn't over yet.
Recently, I moved out of the world I was able to Geek out in (Chicago) and moved to a foreign space (NYC) where I haven't found any friends to geek out with yet (still holding out), but despite the dryness of my current existance, I am still out here and having fun.
If any of this makes me seem boring... think again :-) That is just at this very moment and this very writing. In actuality, I am really geeking out about doctor who icons and php and so excited I can barely type... so who knows what will catch my interest tomorrow.
